Recently I had the pleasure of being able to capture my parents during a little shoot at my house. I have constructed a semi-studio with standard products from Lowe's and it allows me to utilize the large amount of light late in the day coming in from the west side of my home. The light floods through a large arching window and provides a good amount of natural but very hard light. The homemade 5' by 5' diffusers do a very good job spreading that light around. I appreciated the opportunity to portray my parents in such a way that allowed their character to shine through.
